Chassis:
Bought new by Dr Gordon Meffert, this McRare GM-1 was raced by him in Quicksilver colours during the 1973 US F5000 Championship. Dr Meffert scored several top ten finishes that year. Not raced again after the 1973 season, it passed through various hands before it was completely restored to its 1973 configuration by Chris Schneider of Executive Autosport for its longtime owner, who had acquired chassis 006 in 2008. The car made its post restoration debut in 2010 and has since been campaigned in historic races in North America.
