Chassis:
The final GM-1 built, this car featured a slightly longer wheelbase. Entered in Iberia Racing Team colours, it was raced by Graham McRae in several rounds of the 1973 European Championship. It was then acquired by Ian Ward, who modified it into the Ward KS1 but did not race it himself. Subsequent British owners campaigned the extensively into the 1977 season. It changed hands several times more before it was bought by Australian enthusiast Ray Gibbs in 1979. He kept the car for two decades and finally sold it to a New Zealand based enthusiast, who has raced the car in historic events off and on since 2000.
