Chassis:
The only Type 81 built to B specifications, this car first appeared at the Essex Petroleum home race; the Monaco Grand Prix. The debut was short lived as Andretti crashed the car in practice. It then served as a spare at the Hockenheimring and then campaigned three times by Mansell, who failed to reach the finish at each occasion. Restored to full running order, it has more recently been campaigned in historic events by its American owner.
