Chassis: B23-73-8
Sold new to Red Rose Racing, this B23 was raced during the 1973 season by John Burton and John Bridges. Together they won the 2-Litre class at that year's Nürburgring 1000 km by finishing third overall. Towards the end of the year, Bridges drove alone to win the MN GT round at Oulton Park. Chassis 73-8 was then sold to a young John Cleland, who would go on to win the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) twice. He used the B26 for hill-climbs before selling it on to Roger Nathan. It then ended up in France where it formed the basis for one of the Sthemo Group C cars. Now restored to its original configuration, the ex-Red Rose Racing B23 has regularly been raced in historic by a Belgian historic racer.
