Chassis:
Finiished in Blu Notte with a natural leather interior, this short wheelbase 400 Superamerica Aerodinamo was shown at the 1962 Geneva Motor Show a fortnight after it was completed by Pininfarina. Shortly thereafter, it was sold to its first owner, Italian enthusiast Giuseppe Brainovich. A loyal Ferrari customer, he would own the car through to the early months of 1966. Over the next years, the car changed hands several times but remained in Italy. Still in very original condition, it joined the collection of Milan-based enthusiast Giuseppe Sordi in 1997. He showed the car at several events, including the official Ferrari anniversary Concours d'Elegance in 1997 and 2007. Now in American ownership, chassis 3361SA was carefully serviced and Ferrari certified in 2018. Underlining the car's remarkable originality, it was awarded the Vintage Preservation Cup at the 2019 Cavallino Classic. A few months later, the beautifully preserved Ferrari was consigned as one of the headliners of the Gooding Pebble Beach Auctions.
