Chassis:
The ninth Pantera Si built by DeTomaso, this example was delivered new to a German enthusiast. It remained in the country through to 2002 when it joined a Swedish collection. It was meticulously maintained and remained highly original with the exception of the engine block, which was painted while in Swedish ownership. In 2016, chassis 9609 moved to the United States where it was re-painted in its original rosso corsa and the interior re-upholstered with beige leather. A few years later, with just 26,000 miles on the odometer, it was consigned to the 2019 RM Sotheby's Monterey sale. In doing so, it became the first DeTomaso Si ever offered at a major auction.
