Each Huayra was built to custom order, and the original, American owner of this example used that opportunity to the fullest. He specified his Scottish family tartan to be fitted throughout the interior. Accordingly, this Huayra was nick-named the 'Scozia' and a custom badge was added to the tail. He did order additional leather would the next custodian like to have a more conventional interior finish. Further options totalled around $150,000 and included a custom, seven-piece luggage set. Several years later, he added the 'Tempesta' performance upgrade package to the car. This included revised aerodynamics, adjustable Ohlins dampers, significantly lighter wheels and an all-new titanium exhaust system. The first owner then consigned the Huayra to the 2019 RM Sotheby's Monterey sale with just 1,460 miles on the odometer.
