Chassis:
Through R.R.R. Motors of Homewood, Illinois this Cobra was sold to its first owner. The first recorded custodian was Edward L Reagan, who offered it for sale in May, 1970 with 30,000 miles on the odometer. It was then acquired by Michael Hagerty of Green Bay, Wisconsin. He would go on to own the car for well offer three decades. Regularly used and fastidiously maintained, it was eventually submitted to a complete restoration in 1988. The work was done by Motion Products and the Cobra was back to concours standards in 1989. Some two years later, it was offered for sale but Hagerty would eventually hold on to and use the car until 1998. It then joined the stable of a Dutch enthusiast. In 2019, it was consigned to the Bonhams Zoute sale but offers failed to meet the reserve set.
