Chassis:
One of three Peugeot 908s raced during the 2011 season, this chassis was first seen at that year's Le Mans Test where it placed 7th. It was then driven to victory in the Spa 1000 km race by Alexander Wurz, Anthony Davidson and Marc Gené. It then finished fourth overall at Le Mans and second in the Imola 6 Hours. Towards the end of the season, it was entered in the Petit Le Mans for Franck Montagny, Stéphane Sarrazin and Alexander Wurz. Starting 3rd, chassis 908-04 won the race outright. Several years after Peugeot's sports car programme came to an abrupt end, it was sold to a French historic racer. He had the car prepared by French specialists Equipe Europe and campaigned it at the 2018 Le Mans Classic and 2019 Dix Mille Tours.
