Chassis:
The fourth STR3 built, this car was raced by Sebastien Bourdais in the final races of the 2008 season. The Frenchman debuted the car at the Belgian Grand Prix where he started ninth and finished seventh. For the subsequent Italian Grand Prix, he qualified fourth on the grid but then finished a delayed 18th in the race won by his teammate. In the remainder of the season, he finished in the top ten just once more, crossing the line at the Japanese Grand Prix in chassis STR3-04. Following its contemporary racing career, it was restored to full running order and demonstrated at events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
