Chassis:
Completed late in 1955, this 250 Europa GT was acquired new by Jan de Vroom, who was an avid Ferrari racer and silent partner in Luigi Chinetti's North American Racing Team (NART). It was finished in a two tone livery of light blue with a grey roof, while the interior featured beige leather. Instead of having the car shipped to the United States, De Vroom took delivery of the car in the south of France where he had a home. He kept the car until it was eventually sold on and exported to the United States in 1970. It has since had only a handful of longterm owners. During the mid-1980s, it was comprehensively restored and finished in dark red with a beige interior. It was then sold to a major collector in the early 1990s and was only shown once. In 2017, it was offered at auction but failed to sell. Chassis 0377GT has since been restored to its original colours and was consigned to the 2020 RM Sotheby's Arizona sale.
