Chassis:
Built new ahead of the 1998 season, this was one of four R390s entered by Nissan in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. During the prequalifying, it was driven by Franck Lagorce and John Nielsen to seventh overall. For the race proper, they were joined by Michael Krumm. Chassis R8 lined up 10th on the grid and finished the race in fifth. Following its single period outing, it was retired to the Nissan Museum. Still remarkably original condition, it finally re-emerged in 2020 when it was shown at the Retromobile show by the Ascott Collection. Today, it is the only privately owned Nissan R390 in existence.
