Chassis:
Ready in the fall of 1975, this Stratos HF Stradale was acquired new by Livorno resident Paolo Neri. His ownership was brief and the following year, it passed to fellow Livorno resident Romano Cionini Visani. He sold the car after seven years of ownership but he regretted this decision almost immediately. Visani bought the car back and would hold on to it for a further 11 years. The next custodian was Giuseppe di Benedetto, who acquired the car from Visani in 1994. Di Benedetto also cherished the car and would retain the car for over two decades. In 2015, it passed to only its fifth private custodian. Complete and in full running order, it did require refreshing and the cosmetic work was done by Driving the Best in Montreal and then the mechanicals were refurbished by Klub Sport Racing in Riviera Beach, Florida. Now in superb condition, the Stradale was consigned to the 2020 RM Sotheby's Amelia Island auction.
