Chassis:
The very first production Porsche 934, this chassis was acquired new by Kannacher GT Racing for Jürgen Kannacher to race in the 1976 DRM Championship. He was competitive during the opening races of the season, scoring a victory in a Dutch championship round at Zandvoort. Later in the year, it was also campaigned by Hartwig Bertrams and Edgar Dören. Ahead of the 1977 season, it was sold to Kremer Racing, who fielded the 934 for future Le Mans winner 'John Winter'. Its final period outing came at the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it was driven to 19th overall and third in class. In 1982, it was sold to a Florida-based enthusiast 'Skip Gunnell'. He would own the car through to his death in 2003. From his estate, it was acquired by the next long-term owner. He had the car carefully restored to its original colours and configuration by RennSport Racing in New Orleans. Not seen in public since the restoration was completed, it was eventually consigned to the 2020 Gooding & Co. Amelia Island Auction.
