Chassis:
Delivered to its first owner in the fall of 1953, this is the second of two MT4s fitted with the 1450 engine and clothed by Frua with Spider bodywork. The first custodian of this OSCA was Bill B. David, who was an avid racer and the chairman of the San Francisco region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). He raced the car on the West Coast into the 1955 season with considerable success. Following spells in the hands of noted American collectors Don Wasseman and Steve Griswold, it was sold to Italy during the 1980s. It was a regular participant in events like the Mille Miglia retrospective. In the late 2010s, it was sold to Japan and restored to its original livery of dark-blue with a red and white stripe. In this guise, it was shown at the 2019 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
