Chassis:
Built ahead of the 1992 season, this 'Deltona' was entered for Didier Auriol in the Tour de Corse. The Frenchman absolutely dominated the event, taking 18 stage victories. Even before this car was driven to the Tour de Corse win, it had already been sold to Lancia enthusiast Mr Giannetti. It was delivered to him directly from Corsica in as raced condition. It was retained by him until his collection of Deltas was acquired by a British enthusiast in 2017. Quite possibly the most original rally winning Lancia Delta in existence, it has since been demonstrated at the 2018 Vernasca Silver Flag hill-climb and the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
