Chassis:
Painted grey, this Giulietta SZ was delivered new in August of 1960 to Italian amateur racing driver Rinaldo Parmigiani. He raced this car in the 1961 4 Hours of Pescara and Coppa Inter-Europa at Monza, finishing seventh and sixth respectively. The car remained in Italy and was eventually re-painted red and fitted with a later 1750 GTV engine. In 1978, it was sold to the United States and it was raced in the 1980 Monterey Historic Automobile races. Chassis 00033 was then acquired by a long-term Texan owner in 1984. Rarely seen in public, it was finally entrusted to Gooding & Co. for private treaty sale in the spring of 2020 at $495,000.
