Completed in December of 2019, this Speedster is the very last example of the seventh generation Porsche 911 produced. Complete with the Heritage Design package and a matching timepiece, it was consigned by Porsche Cars North America to RM Sotheby's for a charity auction. Also included in a sale is a special leather-bound book documenting the construction of this new car. The winning bidder will be able to take delivery of the car at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering in August of 2020. The proceeds of the sale benefited the United Way Worldwide's COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund. After a week of fierce bidding the 911 Speedster sold for a high bid of $500,000. RM Sotheby's also donated a considerable amount of the 10% buyer's premium. The winning bid was matched by Porsche Cars of North America, so over $1 million was raised for United Way.
