Chassis:
Completed ahead of the 2003 season, this is the fourth Tuscan T400R built. It was entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with DeWalt backing for Tim Sugden, Michael Caine and Mike Jordan. It started the race in 41st but failed to finish the race due to a gearbox issue. It was later driven to victory in the British GT Championship race at Castle Combe by Caine and Michael Hay. Later in the year, it was also raced at Spa and in the Le Mans 1000 km race. During the 2004 season, it was raced by the Chamberlain - Synergy Motorsport team, finishing an impressive 21st overall at Le Mans. Ahead of 2005, it was sold to Lawrence Tomlinson and campaigned under the Team LNT banner but with little luck. Along with three other T400Rs, this example was retained by Tomlinson. Completely disassembled, it was eventually acquired by TVR specialist Jason Clegg. His company Str8Six restored the car to full running order and Clegg first the TVR in the 2021 Estoril Classics Endurance Racing Legends round.
