Chassis:
Completed ahead of the 2001 season, this GT3 RS was acquired new by the American Kelly-Moss Motorsport team. It was finished in a very patriotic red, white and blue livery complete with stars. It debuted at the ALMS Texas round in the hands of Christophe Bouchut and Anthony Lazzaro. They started 11th overall and ended the race sixth in class. The next outing was the Sebring 12 Hours where Lazzaro was joined by David Murry and Vincenzo Sospiri. Unfortunately, a drive-shaft failure prompted a retirement in the second hour of the race. The car re-appeared two years later when it was raced to 28th in the one-off Le Mans 1000 km by the Noël del Bello team. It is in British hands today and was restored to its original livery and then prepared for historic racing by specialists Maxted-Page.
