Chassis:
The 32nd Countach built, this example was delivered new to Saudi Arabia in 1975 along with a sister car. The first owner reportedly was Prince Mansour bin Mishal, who was a member of the House of Saud. It was finished in a striking Blu Metallizzatto with a Tabacco interior. During the 1980s both Countachs were repatriated to Europe and this car ended up in the hands of an Italian collector. It then moved to Germany, where it was re-painted black. By the late 1990s or early 2000s, chassis 1120064 returned to Italy. During this period, it was restored to its original colours. In 2015, the early Countach moved to the United States where it benefitted from a mechanical rebuilt. Retaining its matching numbers engine, this example was consigned to the fall 2020 online-only Gooding & Company Geared Online sale.
