Chassis:
Making its debut in April 1997, chassis '101' was the first Porsche 993 GT1 to be delivered to a customer. JB Racing campaigned the car in the first half of the FIA GT season with an 8th as the best result. The team also raced the car at Le Mans where it failed to finish due to engine problems. In August chassis 101 was sold to Great Britain for a highly successful British GT campaign in the hands of the G-Force team. It won first time out at Brands Hatch and would go on to take many more victories until its retirement at the end of the 1999 season. Still finished in its final livery, it is seen here in action during the 2009 Modena Track Days. It has since changed hands and has been returned into the original Marlboro paint-scheme used by the JB Racing team.
