Not raced in the Formula 1 World Championship, this FW08C was finally pressed into service for the 1985 European Formula 3000 Championship. It was entered by PMC Motorsport it was raced in the first two rounds of the championship by Belgian Thierry Tassin. His best result was a 13th at Thruxton. Since then, it was restored and rebuilt to the configuration and colours as used by the Williams team during the 1983 F1 season. Owned by a British historic racer, it is regularly campaigned in historic events.
