Completed in the fall of 1992, this rare Turbo S Leichtbau was delivered new to a customer in Stuttgart. He used the car extensively until his death in 2018. By that time, it had covered just over 131,000 km. It was then submitted to a comprehensive restoration at the hands of marque specialist Mike Höll in Salzburg, Austria. All the major mechanical components were overhauled and the work was completed in the summer of 2020. With just 137 km on the odometer since the restoration, it was consigned to the online-only 2020 RM Sotheby's London sale.
