Chassis:
Through Hong Seh Motors in Singapore, this V16T was acquired new by the Brunei Royal Family to join a collection that would eventually include over 2,000 exclusive motor cars. It was one of three examples ordered by the Brunei Royal Family. As it turned out, this Cizeta would not actually join the collection as it was never delivered and remained at Hong Seh Motors for over 25 years. This was certainly a good thing as the other two cars were extensively modified by Pininfarina and also fitted with Ferrari flat-12 engines. Chassis 101 remained untouched until it was finally acquired by its first private owner in 2020. He had the car re-commissioned to bring it up to fully functional condition. Shortly thereafter, it was consigned to the 2021 RM Sotheby's Arizona sale.
