Chassis:
In 1990, this Lancia 037 was acquired by Olivier Quesnel for Michel Hommell's growing B collection from Volta in Italy. The section on the chassis were the number was stamped, was replaced so Quesnel was not entirely sure which car it was. Judging from the paperwork, he figured this was chassis 412 that was raced in Martini and Olio Fiat colours. By the time, Quesnel bought the car, it was restored to Martini colours by Volta. It was displayed for many years in Hommell's Manoir de l'Automobile museum until it was consigned to the 2021 Artcurial Paris sale.
