Chassis:
The 127th second series 250 GT Cabriolet built, chassis 2535GT was sold to its first owner through Rome-based dealer Vincenzo Malago in September of 1962. It was painted in Grigio Conchilgia and fitted with a Pelle Blu interior. It had one more Italian owner before it followed so many exotic cars across the Atlantic to the United States. Following a longterm Californian ownership, it was repatriated to Europe in 1986. After subsequent Belgian and Dutch owners, it was acquired by an Italian. In 2013 and freshly certified by Ferrari, it followed the same route it had over 40 years earlier and moved to California. It has since been comprehensively restored to its original configuration down to its original metallic grey exterior blue leather interior. Not shown since, it was consigned to the 2021 RM Sotheby's Amelia Island sale.
