Chassis:
Built to the ultimate SE065 specification by Abarth / Alfa Corse, this example was raced during the 1996 ITC season by Nicola Larini. The Italian driver would score victories at Interlagos and Mugello but end the year only 11th in the standings. Following its contemporary racing career, it was sold to an Italian enthusiast. It changed hands at least once more before it was exported to Germany in 2018. Here it was meticulously prepared for historic racing at an expense of over €350,000. It was entered at select events and also appeared in an Italian publication. Still in full running order, it was consigned to the 2021 RM Sotheby's Milan sale.
