Chassis:
The first Chevron B36 built in 1979, chassis 36-79-01 was sold new to Greek racer racer N. Eliou. He campaigned the car in local events and even a small racing series. By the mid-1980s, the car was damaged in an accident. Eliou could not repair the car himself and instead sold it to Robin Smith, who had briefly owned the entire Chevron company a few years earlier. Smith subsequently repaired the B36 and sold it to the United States where it was campaigned in historic events by subsequent owners. In more recent years, it was restored again. This time by American specialist Lee Chapman. By the early 2020s, it was sold a Swiss Chevron enthusiast, who first raced the car at the 2021 Grand Prix de l'Age d'Or.
