The 180th McLaren P1, this example was delivered new to a Swiss enthusiast. It was finished in metallic orange with a black interior. It remained with the original owner until late in 2018 and was then acquired by its second custodian, who was also from Switzerland, in June of 2019. By that time, it had just over 8,000 km on the odometer. In the subsequent years, it was driver for less than 1,000 km before it was consigned to the 2021 Bonhams Bonmont Sale. It was the top seller of the auction at just over CHF 1.2 million.
