Chassis:
This 911 Carrera 2.7 RS was built to Touring specifications and completed in April of 1973. It was sold to its first owner through Hahn Porsche of Fellbach in Germany. Well optioned, it was finished in white with Carrera red lettering. In 1979, it was exported from Germany to Japan where it would remain for 30 year. It was discovered in Japan by Manfred Freisinger and brought back to Germany. It was then subjected to a complete restoration by Roock Sportsysteme between 2010 and 2011. In Japan the engine had been replaced but in 2015, the original, matching numbers unit was acquired at auction and re-united with the car in 2016. It was then sold in May of 2017 before being consigned to the 2021 RM Sotheby's St. Moritz sale.
