Chassis:
This is one of seven Model J Duesenbergs fitted with the Derham Tourster body style following a Gordon Buehrig design. It was built for William S. Odom, who resided both in Paris and New York. Among the subsequent owners was Andy Granatelli. In more recent years, it has been in the stable of a prominent American collector. The Derham Tourster was meticulously restored by RM Restorations and still retains its original chassis, firewall, engine and coachwork. Shown at numerous events throughout the 2010s, it has won many awards including 'Best of Class' in the Duesenberg class at Pebble Beach in 2012. Having owned the striking Duesenberg for over two decades, the long time owner consigned it to the 2021 RM Sotheby's Arizona sale.
