Chassis:
One of just seven 1979 specification 935s built, this example was entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans by the Interscope Racing team. Shared by Ted Field, Milt Minter and John Morton, it started the race in 25th but failed to reach the finish due to an engine failure. Not raced again, it eventually joined the Lloyd Hawkins collection. Along with the rest of his formidable collection, which includes a 935/79, chassis 930 990 0031 was sold at the 2022 Gooding Amelia Island sale. The subsequent French owner wasted no time and immediately fielded the car in the 2022 Le Mans Classic.
