Featured is Tyrrell 002, which was constructed for the relatively tall Francois Cevert. A victory in the United States Grand Prix and other good results added enough points to World Champion Jacky Stewart's tally to win the constructor's championship for Tyrrell. Cevert used the car for most of the 1972 season as well, but he only managed to finish on the podium once. Today this successful racer is part of an impressive Tyrrell collection, which also includes the 001 and a 006. It is seen here in action at the 2005 Silverstone Classic where it campaigned in both the Thoroughbred Grand Prix and Grand Prix Masters races. As can seen above in the gallery both the sharp 1971 and rounder 1972 nose configurations were campaigned.
