Chassis:
Chassis 4884 was the first of just Miura SVs earmarked for the American market. It was originally invoiced to Lamborghini agent Bob Estes but before the car was completed, it was sold to Alberto Pedretti instead. In addition to being a newly minted Lamborghini distributor himself. Pedretti was also a talented photographer and he travelled to Sant'Agata to shoot the car before it was shipped to America. These pictures were famously used in Lamborghini's official publicity. Upon on arriving in the United States, the car was sold to Jack Robinson of Goddard, Kansas. In 1977, chassis 4884 was acquired by Dr Alan Brown of Savannah, Georgia. He would go on to own the car until his passing in 2005.
The next custodian was Lamborghini enthusiast Joe Sackey, who had Gary Bobileff comprehensively restore the car. Once the work was completed, it won first in class at the Concorso Italiano and also appeared on the cover of Sackey's 'The Lamborghini Miura Bible', which was published in 2008. Chassis 4884 was also featured in several other magazines before it was sold to Germany. In 2017, it was reconditioned at the sum of €170,000 by specialists Lambowerkstatt. With the engine not even completely run in, it was consigned to the RM Sotheby's Monaco sale in 2022.
