Chassis:
The first of 20 Sport Quattro S1s built, this example was was first used for the non-championship Toyota Olympus Rally in 1985. In the hands of Hannu Mikkola and Arne Hertz, it was driven to an outright win in the gravel rally. It was then entrusted to Michèle Mouton and Fabrizia Pons for the Ulster Rally. A turbo failure ended their charge early. Retained by Audi, it was restored to its Olympus Rally configuration. In 2022, it was pressed back into service and demonstrated by Stig Blomqvist during the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
