Chassis:
Two friends of Talbot Lago works driver Louis Rosier, Michel Collange and Robert Huguet acquired this T26 Grand Sport as a rolling chassis. They intended to use the car in road rallies and had it fitted with a coupe body by French carrossier Perret. During the 1951 season, the unique bodywork was damaged after it caught fire during the Rally de la Gentiane. Rosier introduced the two friends to Italian coach-builder Motto, who fitted chassis 110152 with a distinct Barchetta body. Following its competition career, it remained in French hands for many years. From 1998, it has had only two Swiss owners. In 2022, it was shown at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille where it was awarded Best of Show.
