Chassis:
Sold new to the Dutch Carsport Holland team, this Viper was raced extensively in the FIA GT Championship between 2000 and 2002. During the 2000 season, Mike Hezemans and David Hart won the Brno round in this car. The following year, another win was scored with Hezemans and Jeroen Bleekemolen taking victory at the Hungaroring. It also started on pole position at the Spa 24 Hours in 2001 but the car was disqualified from the race due to receiving assistance. The following year, it was involved in a heavy accident at Spa. Repaired, it won again, at Donington, with Hezemans and Anthony Kumpen behind the wheel. At the end of the 2002 season, it was sold to an Italian team and was raced a handful of times, making a final appearance in 2008. In 2010, it was comprehensively rebuilt and restored to its 2002 Spa 24 Hours ‘Route 66’ livery. In 2023, it was consigned to the Bonhams Les Grandes Maruqes du Monde sale in Paris.
