Chassis:
Originally a spare car, this is the only C5-R that was not raced by the Corvette Racing team. It was sold new to the Belgian Selleslagh Racing Team (SRT) to compete in the local Belcar Championship. Between 2003 and 2006, it was raced to several victories at Spa-Francorchamps and Zolder with as a career highlight a win in the Zolder 24 Hours with Marc Goossens, David Hart, Guy Verheyen and Jan Heylen at the wheel. In 2007, it was campaigned in the FIA GT Championship by SRT. Its final contemporary outings came during the 2008 season when it was used in the FIA GT Championship by the Austrian AT Racing team. Between 2016 and 2019, it was completely restored by Luxembourg-based specialist Art & Revs. Chassis 007 was demonstrated during the 2023 Goodwood Members’ Meeting.
