Chassis:
Sold new to Georg Loos for his Gelo Racing Team, this 934 was extensively campaigned during the 1976 season in Tebernum colours. It was raced, among others, by Clemens Schickentanz, Toine Hezemans and Tim Schenken. Both Schickentanz and Schenken won races with this 934. At the start of the next season, it was sold to Dutch racer Henri van Oorschot, who used the Porsche for local events in The Netherlands and Belgium with considerable success. For the 1978 season, it was upgraded with a wider, 935 specification body. Raced by Toon Suykerbuyk, chassis 930 670 0159 finished on the podium several times but victories eluded the car in 935 guise. At the end of the 1978 season, the car was retired from active duty.
In 1980, it was sold to long time owner Franz-Josef Weisskopf. He would own the car through to 2003. During the 1990s, it was restored to its original configuration and livery, retaining the mechanical injection pump installed during the 1976 season. In 2003, it joined another private collection and was then sold to a French historic racer in 2018. Chassis 0159 has since been prepared for historic racing, making its debut during the 2023 Mugello Classic.
