Chassis:
Carefully built between 2003 and 2007, this is the unique CCGT GT1 racing car. A change in regulations, banning carbon-fibre composite chassis and a demand for higher production figures rendered the car obsolete before it ever turned a wheel in anger. When the program ended, chassis 7012 was acquired by major shareholder and offshore World Champion Bard Eker. He carefully maintained the car and used it only for select demonstration runs during the next 15 years. Offered directly by Bard Eker, the unique Koenigsegg competition car was consigned to headline the 2023 Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed sale.
