Completed in May of 1972, this SV was finished in Tahitian blue with gold accents and a white leather interior. A late production SV, it was also fitted with the desirable ‘split-sump’ lubrification system. It was acquired new by Domenico Schiavo in honour of his late brother, who had dreamt of owning a Miura. Schiavo cherished his car and covered nearly 80,000 km during his 38-year ownership. Shortly after it changed hands for the first time, between 2011 and 2013, it was completely restored by specialists Cremonini Carrozzeria. Only its third private owner acquired the Miura SV in 2018 and used it sparingly. Having never been shown at a major event, chassis 5066 was consigned to the 2023 Gooding Pebble Beach Auctions.
