Chassis:
The third and final 962C competition car built by Team Schuppan around the proprietary carbon-fibre composite monocoque, this example was readied for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was fitted with the extensively revised bodywork proved disappointing during practice. The team decided to race the more conventional spare car. Chassis 03C was then entered in the Daytona Test but it did not arrive. Not raced again in period, it was eventually sold to Germany and was more recent acquired by an Australian historic racer. It returned to the race track in 2023 when it competed in the Le Mans Classic and Dix Mille Tours.
