Chassis:
Featured is a twin-spark OSCA MT4 2AD 1500, equipped with a Morelli Spider body. It was sold new to Guatemalan racing driver Manfredo Lippmann, who campagined it in the 1954 Carrera Panamericana, where he sadly failed to finish. He replaced the car with a Ferrari 250 Monza and left the OSCA at Luigi Chinetti's. The next owner was the father of the Rodriguez brothers; it was the talented Mexican racing drivers' first sports car. In recent years Lippmann reacquired the car and had it completely restored. Over fifty years after he first bought it, he delivered the car to the 2007 Pebble Beach Blackhawk Exposition, where it was offered for a reported $750,000.
