Chassis:
Originally finished in Nocciola Metallizzato over a Pelle Beige interior, this is the 82nd Daytona Spider produced. It was acquired new by Robert Linder of Cincinatti, Ohio, who would go on to own the car through to 1991. It was then sold to Germany where it was restored, re-painted yellow and eventually entered the long-term ownership of noted collector Wolf Zweifler. In 2011, it changed hands again and was submitted to another restoration during which 16689 was returned to its original colour combination. The Daytona Spider was Ferrari Classiche certified in 2016 and was consigned to the 2023 RM Sotheby’s Munich sale.
