The 44th of just 50 examples built by the ten technicians at the BMW Dingolfing plant, this example was sold new to a French owner through Bayern Avenue S.A.S. of Cannes, France. Like all CSL tribute cars built, it was finished in white with a black Alcantara interior. It was equipped with carbon-fibre seats, ceramic disc brakes, M-Sport self-locking differential and dual-zone air-conditioning. Although BMWs are built to be driven, the first custodian covered a mere 33 kilometres before returning the car to Munich for the 2023 RM Sotheby’s auction in the Bavarian city.
