Finished in metallic brown over a beige interior, this 365 GTC/4 was sold new to Thomas Somermeier Jr. The California-based enthusiast would retain the car for 34 years. In 2006, it was acquired by Tom Shaughnessy with 32,000 miles on the odometer. The subsequent owner had the car re-painted and re-upholstered and it then entered another long-term ownership in August of 2010. From this collection and with 37,302 miles on the odometer, it was consigned 13 years later to the Gooding Geared Online - December sale.
