Originally finished in Elfenbein or ivory, this 356 A Speedster was sold new through Hoffmann Motors in New York. Its earliest history is unknown but it appeared in California during the 1970s. It had been pained silver and joined the long-term ownership of a Frederick Myeron. The Orangevale resident owned the car for at least 25 years. It changed hands more recently and remains in unrestored condition. Having been in static storage for many years, this matching numbers 356 A Speedsters was entrusted to Gooding for the December, 2023 of the auctioneer’s online-only Geared Online sales.
