Chassis 69 of 106 produced, this Speedtail was delivered new through McLaren dealer The Collection in Coral Gables, Florida. It was finished in Liquid Blue Silver with a matching blue and grey leather interior. Thanks to an extensive package of bespoke optional equipment, the sticker price exceeded £2 million, which at the time was $2.7 million. These options included many polished components, exposed carbon-fibre trim, diamond cut lightweight wheels and 1,000-strand, exposed, gloss carbon-fibre composite wheel covers. It was delivered new to the United Kingdom and then exported with delivery miles to the United States under the show and display exemption. Having covered a mere 54 miles, it was consigned as one of the headliners of the 2024 RM Sotheby’s Arizona sale. Sold for just over $2 million, it topped the RM Sotheby’s Arizona auction.
