Understood to be the ninth Chiron Super Sport 300+ produced, this is one of eight earmarked for the United States. Finished in the instantly recognisable black and orange livery with a matching interior, it was delivered through Manhattan Motorcars in February of 2023. Just like every modern, Bugatti, this Chiron was extensively tested before it was dispatched. Since taking delivery, only five miles were added to the 250 miles covered during the thorough test drives. Early in 2024, it was consigned to headline the Bonhams Scottsdale auction, marking the first time a Chiron Super Sport 300+ was offered for sale publicly in the United States. The Bugatti found a new owner for just over $5 million, making it the most expensive car sold during the auction.
